Congratulations! How exciting that you will soon become a mummy!
We recognise that expecting mothers occasionally need a “non-judgmental” helping hand with the tasks associated with getting ready for delivery and beyond.
Online resources provide so much information that it might be a little confusing, especially if you have trouble sleeping or have a hectic schedule at work.
With no judgement and only open, honest guidance, we can help new mothers navigate this period. We collaborate with baby experts who can offer guidance on childbirth options, baby equipment, routines, practical ‘hands-on’ workshops, and much more.
Note from Katie:
When I fell pregnant with my first child, I was over the moon but completely unprepared! After reading a couple of books and scaring myself half to death, I decided to go with the flow and let nature take its course—ignorance is bliss! Some of the traditional antenatal groups were not really for me, and I found them quite overwhelming and pushy, especially the ‘Breastfeeding’ debate!
Instead, I shunned the conventional system and became great friends with an honest mama called Nikki, whom I met while pregnant. She was going through the same stages and challenges as I was. Together, we rode the roller coaster together and looked out for one another.
To date, between us, we are mothering ‘four children’, have made and are still making plenty of mistakes, but still pushing on together.
After looking back over those early times, I really wished that Nikki and I could have attended an event that could have supported, educated, and helped us through this stage. I think it would have made the early years much more relaxed and lowered our anxieties, if we could have had time to speak with childcare professionals.
For the new parents out there, I have collected together a group of brilliant experts who can shed some light on the magical journey of parenthood! I truly hope these retreats prove very helpful xx
